Spring Poem

I love this poem and want to share it with visitors to my website. It was written by one of my pupils called Jessica Mc Lntyre aged 11, Year 7.

Thank you, Jessica for such a wonderful poem and congratulations on becoming a poet.

Spring Poem

The wonderful flowers guarding the grass,

Birds tweeting as children pass,

They play outside for hours and hours,

While bees pollinate the flowers,

Longer days, shorter nights,

No more Jack Frost frights,

The weather gets warmer,

The rain gets calmer,

Everyone playing with the cuddly rabbits,

Starting to get into the spring habits,

Finally the day is done,

It’s time to end the fun,

Cuddle up in their beds,

And rest their weary heads!
