Hi everyone I hope you are having a very good holiday with your children. I believe holidays should be times for reading , collecting general knowledge and writing fun stories. That’s why at kidslearnfast we hold creative writing groups for children in the holidays. These all vary in level and type. The one I am teaching tomorrow is about

over a six week period. The kids love it and learn enormous creative writing skills. It’s almost like writing a story with a beginning ,middle and end. But here we deal with the mechanics of writing skills in a larger aspect than just paragraphs . Each chapter is a more detailed paragraph in a sense. But it’s not so restrictive as writing a story for an exam where you only have 30 minutes. But of course this group prepares your child for that.

Children from the ages of 6 come to us for this course as do children of 10 who are sitting the 11plus in September. As all ages and levels benefit. We cover skills in descriptive writing , the five senses and inference. We of course teach how to plan. That is so important.
We do have many other courses available too but with this one the children have their own book to keep and is an excellent step in making them young writers of worth! I congratulate them as this is their first time on doing something like this so we have a winner who gets a gift.
