Over the course of SATs week children in year 6 take 6 different papers. They take a maximum of 2 tests a day. With the maths there will be one with calculator use and one test without.
The English Spag papers comprise of text questions to answer and spelling
Spag stands for spelling, punctuation and grammar.
All year 6 sates tests are marked externally and returned to the school. Each child is given a scaled score from80 to 120. A score of 100 means the child has achieved the expected standard.

I hope all children enjoyed the pomp and ceremony that only the British can show.
